Baltic Cargo Hub: a new benchmark in aviation logistics

The crown jewel of our recent achievements is the Baltic Cargo Hub, now the largest air cargo facility in the Baltics. Commissioned earlier this year, this logistics powerhouse spans 6,895 m², featuring a 4,978 m² climate-controlled warehouse and a 1,387 m² open-air cargo area.

This project represents a triumph of technical complexity and sustainability. Designed in strict accordance with international security protocols and BREEAM requirements, the terminal was managed using BIM and advanced digital quality-control tools. As such, it serves as a gold standard not only for aviation logistics but for the Latvian construction industry as a whole.

As the construction consultant and site supervision partner, BLV Advisory Group ensured that every phase of development aligned with the client’s interests, rigorous quality standards, and strict deadlines, ultimately providing the region with its most modern air cargo hub.

CEEQA finalist status and the drone manufacturing project

International Recognition. In April, BLV Advisory Group reached a significant milestone by being named a finalist for the CEEQA Awards in the “Development Services Company” category. The jury highlighted our finalist status as a testament to the team’s high professional competence and our ability to compete at a premier international level.

Completion of the EDGE Autonomy drone factory. The construction of the 10,000 m² Edge Autonomy drone manufacturing project was completed in April. As the Technical Consultant from day one, BLV Advisory Group worked to ensure that the client’s business objectives and developmental vision were precisely translated into technical solutions. Our mission extended beyond overseeing quality and safety; we ensured that every decision was rooted in long-term value and remained fully aligned with BREEAM sustainability principles.

For our team, this project serves as further proof that international high-tech companies can successfully scale their operations in Latvia. Having been involved from the very beginning—from strategic planning to final handover—this project stands as a prime example of how deep expertise, client understanding, and true partnership can deliver complex tasks within ambitious timeframes.

Magdelēna Quarter: premium office developments

Class-A office complex near Old Riga. Late spring marked the commissioning of two Class-A office buildings in the Magdelēna Quarter, located at Antonijas iela 17 and 21.

As the construction supervision partner, BLV Advisory Group ensured that VASTINT’s rigorous quality standards were met, even within the logistical constraints of a dense city-center environment. Our team’s oversight was instrumental in guaranteeing the project’s compliance with LEED Platinum and nZEB (nearly Net Zero Energy Building) standards.

The Magdelēna Quarter is the only new office development of this scale in the “Quiet Center” (Klusais centrs). It seamlessly blends modern architecture and sustainable engineering with a thoughtfully designed urban environment, featuring public squares, commercial spaces, and intuitive pedestrian flows.

The new hospital for the Latvian Microsurgery Center

A leader in Baltic microsurgery. In June, the new hospital of the Latvian Microsurgery Center officially opened at Brīvības gatve 332. This state-of-the-art facility integrates diagnostic, reconstructive, hand, aesthetic, and oncological microsurgery services. BLV Advisory Group spearheaded construction supervision and risk management, ensuring an ergonomic, secure, and patient-centric infrastructure that reinforces the Center’s standing as one of Europe’s premier microsurgery institutions.

Throughout the project, we provided critical support in contractor selection and rigorous quality control of materials and workflows. By minimizing risks, we guaranteed a sustainable infrastructure that streamlines daily operations for medical professionals and elevates the overall standard of care. Projects of this caliber significantly boost the Baltics’ potential as a destination for medical tourism, offering globally relevant healthcare solutions.

Carillon Aparthotel: luxury in the heart of Old Riga

An exclusive apartment complex. Autumn saw the completion of the Carillon Aparthotel reconstruction in Old Riga — an exquisite boutique property featuring 61 unique apartments.

As the construction supervision partner, BLV Advisory Group ensured that the reconstruction strictly adhered to the stringent requirements for cultural heritage while meeting the sophisticated standards of modern hospitality. Working in close synergy with the client, our team meticulously oversaw the process to honor the building’s historical legacy. The result is a seamless fusion of functionality, uncompromising quality, and timeless aesthetics.
