Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) is a higher education institution in Latvia, founded in 1950 on the basis of the University of Latvia’s Faculty of Medicine. The university collaborates with over 80 universities worldwide, including through the ERASMUS program, and organizes the Latvian Congress of Physicians every four years, attracting specialists from various countries. RSU is closely integrated into the Latvian healthcare system and offers a wide range of educational programs across nine faculties.

The new complex is home to the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, the Department of Pharmacology, and the Department of Applied Pharmacy at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). The building includes study spaces and laboratories for students, as well as the crucial Laboratory of Finished Dosage Forms, designed in accordance with industrial pharmacy principles. This new RSU complex is a modern, world-class science center focused on knowledge and new pharmaceutical technologies, aimed at developing innovative solutions and creating new drug forms.
