The Latvian airline airBaltic has implemented the construction of two aircraft maintenance hangars (MRO) at its home base at RIX Riga Airport. The project was developed to expand the airline’s maintenance infrastructure and ensure efficient fleet servicing.

Each hangar is designed for the maintenance of one Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The buildings were designed taking into account northern climate conditions, ensuring reliable and continuous operation throughout the year.
The project was implemented under a Design & Build contract, enabling an efficient design and construction process as well as a short project delivery timeframe.
