Baltic Cargo Hub is the largest air cargo terminal in the Baltics, developed at RIX Riga Airport. The project was implemented in accordance with the BREEAM Very Good sustainability certification level, ensuring modern and energy-efficient infrastructure for air cargo handling.

The terminal operates according to a “one-stop agency” concept, bringing together all institutions involved in cargo handling in one location, including Customs, the Food and Veterinary Service, as well as freight forwarders and customs brokers.
The infrastructure of the complex provides direct access to the aircraft cargo apron, enabling efficient servicing of both passenger and cargo aircraft.
The terminal includes specialised storage areas with various temperature regimes for handling pharmaceutical and perishable goods, as well as dedicated facilities for special shipments, including live animals, dangerous goods, valuable cargo and radioactive materials.
